A driver scheduling platform for Loblaw's transport network
Driver dispatch across the transport network ran on shared Excel macro workbooks: no history, version conflicts, drivers told of changes by one-off messages. I designed, built, and shipped the replacement end to end: discovery with dispatchers and transport supervisors, a first release scoped to the one tab everyone fought over and the full platform built out around it, a Python and MySQL build behind a web front end, hours-of-service checks before a run is booked, pay approval, and deployment on a Linux VM I administer. One platform, configurable per distribution centre, instead of one spreadsheet per site.
